Na de hits als “I need air” en “Perfect stranger” is het niveau in het dubstep genre een stap hoger gericht. Dubstep ontstond omstreeks 2001 waar ze hun diepe en duistere basslijnen uit het drum&bass hebben gehaald. Het fenomeen heeft sinds vorig jaar een grote stap voorwaarts gezet in de muziekwereld en dit allemaal dankzij Caspa, Skream en Benga die met hun tracks dubstep hebben opengebroken. Op het album staan natuurlijk de niet te missen hits als “I need air” en “Perfect stranger” maar vind je zowel tracks met een dromerige kant alsook tracks die je een terugkijk geven waar dubstep vandaan komt. Bij de tracks op dit album kregen ze ook nog eens de samenwerking van niemand minder dan de R&B zangeres Miss. Dynamite, Angela Hunte, Katy B., Sam Frank en John Legend.

Met dit album laat Magnetic Man zien dat ze zowel een commerciële touch aan dubstep kunnen geven alsook een diepe en hardere kant. Op dit moment is Magnetic Man het live electronic music project van deze herfst 2010 !

Er is ook een versie “Deluxe Edition” beschikbaar, daarbij zit er een tweede cd waarop remixes en twee gloednieuwe tracks staan !

Brussels by night is rather particular… Indeed, the capital of Europe is undoubtedly also one of the 3 smallest capital of Europe… This creates an atmosphere of “village” where finally everyone knows everyone a little. But in Brussels one also feels accomodated…accepted…That is undoubtedly the influence of the European Institutions… They give Brussels nightlife a very cosmopolitan touch. Party is everywhere…there are so many things to do…

The best club of the capital is without any doubts the Libertine Supersport. The programation is super qualitative and Brussels best Dj’s are there the residents. On these nights, the masks fall, the emotions explode, the smiles dominate, and this on the sound of the best electronic music the world can propose…

So, where sould we start …



We opened the club the 10th of october 2009, and these first 8 months have been quite crazy ;
Let’s try to sum it up for you..
It’s a two floor building by the water (in front of the canal of Brussels with a beautiful view on the business center buildings of Brussels (called “Little Manhattan”)), open every Saturday, with a capacity of approx. 1000 people.

2 ROOMS:

* Upstairs, 1st floor, THE LIBERTINE : A cosy club with a pretty sexual atmosphere, disco balls, very good soundsystem, comfortable sofas, big bar and a small dancefloor (200 persons) with a view on the canal of Brussels. The music: Nu-Disco, Disco, Deep house… Past DJ’s: Joakim, Diskjokke, Pilooski, Tensnake Live, Italians Do It better Crew, Shit Robot, Still Going, Runaway, Golden Bug Live, Munk, Telonius, and Horse Meat Disco (as international residents).

* Basement, THE SUPERSPORT : Big & Main room (600 persons), big soundsystem, big lights, 2 big VJ screens, very nice stage. The dj plays in the center of the room with people around him. A real bunker/Berlin style dance hall, wood walls and concrete. Absolutely amazing…
